A couple of weeks ago I had a wake up call! I am 6’ early twenties and I weighed 266 I was ******* tried of being fat so I put a plan together to lose weight it consisted of NO junk food at all NO sodas, a limited amount of sugar and salt. I eat grilled chicken and fish and just about anything that is green and comes of a plant and I also put together an excise routine I am running 1 hour and a half for 6 six days…and I have lost 21 pounds!!!! I went from 266 to 245 and I feel great. my main goal is to be at 220-200 so I stated to lifts this weekend to try to get rid of my man boobs lol and was wondering if any one had some advise on what I should change to help maximize the routine of burring fat ? I am thinking of maybe running the full two hours and adding one hour of running time to the morning I do all my excising at night…and doing weights every other day….what do y'all think
As long as you combine your training with weights - you should be ok. But don't understimate walking as a form of exercise. Instead of the lift take the stairs etc. It really makes a difference. Remember to drink lots of water.

ive tried eating good and excersizing, im really not into that supplement ****, or acai berry, ive been tempted to try it for the hell of it. how can i honestly lose the stomach fat and the ******* man ****. im willing to try anything, and can handle hard workouts(tried p90x so dont give me that advice, they want supplements also)

Concentrate more on a variety of upper body exercises, curls, lifts, and abdomen. Push ups and sit ups are also good workouts to work the pecs and lats. No mater what exercise you do, to be effective they have to be consistent. A couple of times a day or evening but do them repetitiously and consistently. No need to increase weights if your not trying to build strength, just definition. Exercise until you feel those muscles start to burn (hurt) then you know they are starting to stretch or build.

Also very important . . . . your diet, stay away from the fast foods, junk foods, etc.. reduce intake of foods high in fats, sugar and salt. Eat smaller meals or eat lightly more often thru the day. You have to eat healthy to maintain weight and body definition. Alcohol intake is also bad for you if your trying to body build.

I'm getting really desperate guys. Every time I start a workout schedule, I'm doing it and I feel really good, for about a week. Then I stop. Why is that? Can somebody please please please give me some workouts I can do? I'm in 7th grade and I want to make highschool soccer and hopefully play college. Yo, D.... If you can work 30-45 min. workouts in 5 days a week, you can make significant impact on your physique.

What you want to do is keep tabs on eating a proper diet and working out properly. I will say you might want to get a better rounded workout in. Sorry to hear you feel you are "too muscular", I'm sure you've heard it from someone perhaps close to you. I really hope you reconsider losing muscle as muscle is health and life, losing muscle will only be a detriment to good health. I know lots of guys, myself included, who prefer athletic women.

In today's culture of obesity and lack of good fitness in the general population, fit and strong females are more and more reviled and often have to put up with a lot of negative, and often erroneous, feedback. With role models like Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, the skinny-fat bodies that dominate popular culture, it's little wonder that it's harder for athletic and healthy women to "fit in".

My suggestion is rather than trying to lose muscle is to lose excess bodyfat, that'll go a long ways in appearing more trim overall. Better yet, try focusing your efforts and lifestyle on good health and fitness, these things will ultimately lead to more happiness and a better outlook; the other stuff like positive self-image falls in the place naturally after that. Also, try to get good feedback from other athletes, surround yourself by people who will accept and encourage you. Remember, different guys prefer different body types and no matter how end up with there will be people who don't like how you look and people who do.

Have you ever heard the saying "I wish I had your problem?" I'm guessing that a lot of guys would like to have shoulders like yours. If fact, my weight-lifting routine is structured with emphasis on my shoulders and to make them broader.

Relax, you'll have at least one more growth-spurt and then you'll be in proportion (if you aren't already).

Because I don't think we're equal at all! Women are so much more different than men! We're completely different genders, our bodies are completely different which is why most women can't do the same things as men when it comes to strength, etc., and our hormones are completely different.
