| Homemade Movie? O.K A friend and i had an idea of making a movie. I had this idea of a horror but wouldn't work out. Were only 14 and yes this is a crap idea but anywho. | How can I get a file (homemade movie) off of a CD when the computer will not open it? I have a CD with a homemade movie on it that is very important to me. The DVD is scractched slightly, but the computer will not open the movie at all. It won't even open the DVD drive. The computer works fine with any other cd/dvd. Other computers aren't able to open the DVD. The computer sounds like it is trying to read the disc but can't. Is there any possible way to get this file opened? Is there a fairly inexpensive program that rescues files such as these? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot. |

Worst case scenario is that you get sued by the band and the label but most times this will not happen. Either way, this is a circumvention of copyright law and you should seek permission to use the music from the band and the label. |

| No you don't need a special program most cameras allow you to change the aspect ratio manually before recording. I have a similar camera to you and all you need to do is click on FN, then click MENU go down to CAMERA SET and click EXEC, then go down to WIDE SEL and click EXEC and click on 16:9 WIDE and then EXEC again. The screen should now appear in widescreen. Your camera might be different but the principal is still the same, if my instructions are wrong just look for CAMERA SET and the rest should be pretty straight forward and selfexplainitory Hope that helps ;) |
